The different categories available will help you to have a better structure and organisation in your groups and will be used by Nailted in your Messages section to show you more useful information about the feedback you receive.
💡The categories will form the basis for future developments so we recommend that you add the right categories to your groups.
How can I add categories to the groups I have already created?
To add a category to a group that is already created follow the steps described below:
Go to your Team section and click on groups.
Next, select the group that you would like to add a category to.
Once inside the group, click on the 3 dots icon and select the Edit group.
Under the group category title a dropdown will appear containing the possible category options:
Region
Location
Department
Team
Other
Finally to save your changes, click on the Update group button and the new category will be added to the group.
How can I create a group and assign it a category?
Creating groups is the best way to understand those patterns people have in common. To create a new group follow this steps:
Go to your Team section and click on groups.
Next click on the Add new group button that will open a new window.
Add the Group name and select the category to which the group will belong to by selecting one of the available options in the dropdown below Group category:
Region
Location
Department
Team
Other
Decide what type of group you want to create among the ones available:
Static: You can decide directly who is or is not part of the group manually.
Dynamic: The people that belong to the group will be added if the set criteria is met, for example a person has been a certain amount of time in the company.
Finally, save your changes by clicking on the Continue button.
Your new group will be created and ready to add members to it.
